# Verify your email

For sensitive operations such as editing the project's receiving wallet, it is necessary to verify the email for added security.

### Verify your email

1. `Log in` and go to your Geyser profile
2. Click the `Settings` button, below the profile summary
3. Type your **email** address, the press `Update email`
4. **Copy** the One Time Password you received in the email from `hello@geyser.fund`
5. and **paste** it in the OTP field, then click `Confirm`

Congratulations, you have now verified your email and made your profile more secure.
