A Field Partner is a vetted local operator who connects Geyser and contributors with credible entrepreneurs in a Bitcoin circular economy. Geyser cannot understand every local context from a distance. Field Partners bring the relationships, judgement and presence needed to identify good candidates, support them through delivery and protect community trust.

What Field Partners do

Field Partners:
  • source credible local businesses and entrepreneurs;
  • verify identity, reputation, need and local context;
  • help beneficiaries prepare approved Circular Grant campaigns;
  • work with Geyser to create approved all-or-nothing campaigns using the verified beneficiary wallet;
  • support campaign storytelling, promotion and contributor updates;
  • help beneficiaries use the grant for its approved purpose;
  • collect progress updates and consented photos or video;
  • steward the local Community Fund; and
  • propose future beneficiaries using documented local criteria.
Field Partners do not own a beneficiary’s grant and cannot redirect its payout. They may not demand forwarding, behave as collectors or shame a recipient who is unable to contribute to the Community Fund.

Who can become a Field Partner?

Strong candidates are already active and trusted in a local Bitcoin community. They normally demonstrate:
  • established relationships with local merchants and entrepreneurs;
  • a track record of useful work in their community;
  • sound judgement and reliable communication;
  • the ability to verify and support beneficiaries in person;
  • respect for consent, privacy and accurate reporting;
  • a clear understanding that Circular Grants are not debt; and
  • willingness to follow Geyser’s eligibility, safeguarding and evidence standards.
Previous Geyser activity, workshops or fundraising experience can help, but they do not automatically confer Field Partner status. Partners are selected deliberately, interviewed and approved against documented criteria.

Apply

Tell us about your community, local reach, team and track record.

Initial review

The Field Coordinator checks fit, evidence and operating capacity.

Interview and due diligence

We discuss local needs, safeguards, responsibilities and potential conflicts.

Geyser approval

Field Partner status is granted only after formal approval.

Onboarding

The partner learns the campaign, beneficiary, reporting and Community Fund processes.

Pilot activity

New partners begin with a deliberately limited scope and grow through demonstrated delivery.

What Field Partners receive

Approved Field Partners become part of Geyser’s local operating network. Depending on verified work, available funding and the terms agreed with Geyser, support may include:
  • operational incentives for completed and verified work;
  • access to approved Circular Grant capital for local beneficiaries;
  • campaign, storytelling and content support;
  • visibility through Geyser communications and impact reporting; and
  • a direct relationship with the Field Coordinator and other trusted partners.
Specific payments, targets and capacity are agreed with each partner. They are not guaranteed simply by holding the title.
