# How to claim a refund

> How to request a refund after a failed Geyser payment.

If your payment fails:

1. Go to the [Refund page](https://geyser.fund/refund/file).
2. Upload your **Refund File** (auto-detected if stored locally).
3. Enter your **Bitcoin address** for the refund.
4. Select **Initiate refund**.

If you didn't secure your refund file and the transaction failed, please [contact us](/help-and-support/contact-geyser).

<Warning>
  Because Geyser has no control over the funds you send at any time, you will not be able to receive a refund from Geyser if you did not secure your refund file.
