Can I raise funds for anything?

Yes, as long as it aligns with Geyser’s values: open, creative, and community-driven projects that promote positive impact around the world.

The project does not have to be about Bitcoin per se.

How do I start a project?

Simply create an account, click “Creator" then "Launch your Project”, add your story, set a goal, and publish. The You’ll start receiving Bitcoin directly to your wallet.

Is Geyser Available in my country?

Most probably! Geyser works in almost every country. See which country we operate in: Countries on Geyser.

Do I need to be verified to raise funds?

Only email verification is required to start. When you raise over $10k you need to verify via a phone number, and over $100k you need to verify with ID.

What fees does Geyser charge?

Geyser fees range from 0 % to 5 % and may go higher if the creator opts in for additional marketing support. This represents a low amount compared to many other crowdfunding platforms.

Geyser also charges an upfront project launch fee, in order to keep the signal on the platform high and reduce the number of spam projects.

How can contributors support a project?

They can contribute using Bitcoin via Lightning or on-chain payments directly through the project page. Some projects have integrated credit card payments.

When do I receive the funds?

With fundraisers funds are sent instantly to your Bitcoin wallet - Geyser never holds your money.

With Campaigns you will receive the funds when and if the goal is reached, if not the funds will go back to the contributors.

Tell your story clearly, add visuals, and share your project on social media or Nostr to attract more contributors.
