# Givers

Based in Tokyo, **Givers** is a student-led volunteer organization from **Sophia University** with over **170 members**, working to improve the lives of underprivileged children in **El Salvador** through education, economic empowerment, and Bitcoin.

Their initiative — *Make the Future of Hundreds of Children* — raised **26M sats (\~$7,600)** from **80 contributors**, combining Bitcoin adoption with meaningful, on-the-ground humanitarian impact.
